Stewed Trotters with Soybean Sauce

trotter 2 pieces
garlic 6 cloves
cornstarch/potato starch 2 tsp.
cinnamon 1 section
sliced ginger 8 slices
star anise pods 4
crystal rock sugar 6 oz.
cooking wine ⅛ cup.
water 8 cups

Seasoning Mix

Soybean Sauce ¼ cup
Seasoned Soy Sauce ¼ cup
fermented red beancurd 2 cubes

1.   Cut trotters into pieces, boil with water for 5 minute, drain and set aside.
2.   Use little oil to sauté ginger, garlic, Lee Kum Kee Soybean Sauce and fermented red beancurd till fragrant; add cooking wine, water and Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Soy Sauce.
3.   Add trotter and the rest of ingredients into pot, cover with lid. Bring to boil with high heat then stew with low heat for about 1.5 hours till the trotter meat is soft.
