Split Pea & Bacon Soup with Premium Oyster Flavored Sauce

Chef Recommendation

Carrot (s) 1 small [, peeled, chopped]
Angled luffa 2 stalks [, chopped ]
peas 1 Cup, rinsed well
heavy cream 2 oz
Bacon 2 slices [, cut into small pieces ]
Pepper 1 pinch [, for taste ]
parsely 1 tbsp, chopped
water 6 Cup
chicken broth 1 Cup


Premium Oyster Flavored Sauce 3 tbsp

1. Heat oil on medium-heat in a soup pot. Cook bacon until brown. Set aside one slice of bacon for garnish.
2. Add celery, italian seasoning and carrots. Cook mixture for 3-4 minutes.
3. Stir in split peas and water. Bring mixture to a boil. Then, simmer for 45 minutes. Cool.
4. Transfer mixture into a blender and process until smooth.
5.  Return mixture into the soup pot. Add chicken broth, Lee Kum KeeTM Premium Oyster Flavored Sauce, heavy cream and pinch of black pepper to taste. Cook mixture until heated through. Garnish with parsley and chopped bacon.
