Fried Prawns with Mixed Herbs
Lee Kum Kee
Prawns 400 g [deveined and kept tails]
Plain flour 1/2 Cup
Italian mixed herbs 1 tbsp
Premium Oyster Sauce
- Mix prawn meat with marinade.
- Mix flour with Italian herbs. Coat prawn meat with flour. Pan-fry or deep-fry in hot oil until golden yellow and done.
A fresh prawn should come in one whole piece and its flesh is firm.
The following method will make a fried prawn look more lively. First of all, remove the prawn's head and shell but keep its tail. Clean out its intestine, and then slice it half open, along its back, starting from its tail upwards.
Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce is made with premium grade oysters. It can be used to marinade prawns to enhance their flavour.
