The Group Chairman of Lee Kum Kee, Mr. Lee Man Tat, was awarded the "Bronze Bauhinia Star" by The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for his significant contribution to Hong Kong. Lee Kum Kee is committed to the concept of “100-1=0” in quality control and production, as well as selecting the best ingredients for manufacturing our renowned sauces and condiments. In recognition of the quality of our products, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) has awarded the “Hong Kong Q-Mark Product” Certificate to Lee Kum Kee for the sixth consecutive year. This year, our accredited products include “Premium Soy Sauce”, “Premium Oyster Sauce” and “XO Sauce”. At the award presentation ceremony, Lee Kum Kee showcased its products and explained its strong belief in quality. In addition, Lee Kum Kee's corporate values of “Pragmatism, Integrity and Constant Entrepreneurship” were displayed as a backdrop to highlight Lee Kum Kee's use of premium ingredients. This year, FHKI selected Lee Kum Kee as one of the award-winning companies to be featured in a TV commercial, which will be broadcasted on i-Cable News and i-Cable Finance between June 19 and July 6, 2010. ## ......

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service presented the “Caring Company Label” to awarded corporations at The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on March 25, 2010. Lee Kum Kee has been awarded for seven consecutive years, demonstrating its commitment to corporate social responsibilities in the spirit of “Si Li Ji Ren”. Lee Kum Kee was awarded in the following three areas: Caring for the Community: In 2008 and 2009, the senior management and employees of Lee Kum Kee participated in the “Charity Walk to Support Lok Chi Association,” the “Lifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation – Charity Run/Walk 2009” and various activities to raise money for victims of the Si Chuan earthquake. Caring for the Employees: Lee Kum Kee promotes a “3-balance” corporate philosophy – family, health and work; and provides free nutritious lunch and a shuttle for employees. Caring for the Environment: Lee Kum Kee implemented environmental management facilities within its plants – an integrated oil and grease removal process to the sewage treatment system; reduction of plastic usage in packaging; and deploying circulating hot water system to generate energy. Social responsibility builds upon a complementary triangular relationship comprising of corporations, society and employees. Lee Kum Kee continues to strive growth in harmony with  society and promoting Chinese cuisine worldwide.
