Pan-fried Beef Steaks With Hoisin Sauce

Ingredients

Beef fillet/tenderloin 300 g [steak, 2 pcs]
Asparagus 25 g [sliced]
Bell pepper (s) 25 g [sliced]
Cooked seasonal vegetables [for serving]


Marinade

Hoisin Sauce 1 tbsp
Hoisin Sauce 1 1/2 tbsp
Water 6 tbsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp


Directions
  1. Marinate beef tenderloin for 1/2 hour.
  2. Pan-fry beef tenderloin in 2 tbsp oil until desired doneness.  Set aside.
  3. Stir-fry asparagus and bell pepper in 1 tbsp oil.  Add sauce mix, heat through and pour over beef steaks.  Serve with cooked vegetables.
